The possibility of simple adjustments in all relevant directions allowed the arrival at ideal positioning. Real world adjustments were then carried over to the prototype model, which then drove the final design.

Removes the visual clutter of "antlers", allows mirrors to be tucked in closer to provide clearance for lane splitting (if the handlebars clear, the mirrors will clear), and allows a less obstructed view rearward (shoulders and arms are no longer in the way).
